Warzone 2 has brought forth plenty of new features that make the battle royale more exciting. One of the new mechanics that players are enjoying is the new Jailbreak aspect. This element allows players to re-enter the game without being bought back or having to go through the Gulag.

Although this feature has been welcomed by the community with open arms, there’s still some confusion as to when it occurs during a match. Luckily, we’re here to let you know when it happens so you’ll be able to prepare for it.
Here’s all that you need to know regarding the Jailbreak event in Warzone 2.
When does the Jailbreak event happen in Warzone 2?
Jailbreaks in Warzone 2 typically materialize during the fourth circle. Unfortunately, this in-game event is entirely random and doesn’t always take place in each match so if it doesn’t occur during the aforementioned period, it may not happen at all in that game.

Although there isn’t an indicator as to when and which matches Jailbreaks take place in, it encourages fallen players to stick around in case it does end up happening. If the opportunity does materialize for you in a match, you’ll be able to notice it immediately. This is because a “Jailbreak Imminent” announcement will be made before it eventually transpires.
It’s important to note, however, that the weapons and items you’ve looted previously will not be returning with you. Much like any other form of respawn in Warzone 2, it essentially gives you a fresh start so you’ll drop in with nothing but your starting gear making you incredibly vulnerable. With this in mind, you’ll have to drop in and loot quickly so you can defend yourself from other players.
