Star Wars Battlefront’s multiplayer beta will go live to all players at 3pm BST today, EA has confirmed.

The beta will be available to everybody on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and can be downloaded directly through each platform’s digital store without the need for a code.

If you’re playing on PC you can already pre-load it via Origin, but if you’re on console you’ll have to wait for it to go live before downloading it.

The beta offers access to three game modes across three maps – Walker Assault on Hoth, Drop Zone on Sullust, and a co-op Survival Mission on Tatooine – and is due to run until next Monday, October 12.

Earlier today it was reported that the PS4 version of the beta runs at native 900p, with the Xbox One version allegedly coming in at a lower 720p. DICE has yet to confirm whether the final game will render at a higher resolution.

Star Wars Battlefront launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 19.
