Titanfall launches in the US on March 11 with over 6,000 midnight openings at retailers across the nation.
In celebration Xbox One will be hosting a launch event in Austin, Texas at South by Southwest on March 10. Xbox corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi will be joined by Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella and community manager Abbie Heppe, along with fans, developers, and SXSW attendees.
The action will kick off at 9pm at the Microsoft Studio at 323 Congress Ave., and will feature opportunities to meet the developers behind Titanfall, giveaways, and lots of Titanfall gameplay.
Those in attendance will also be treated to a special performance by Childish Gambino.
Getting into the launch will be on a first-come, first-served basis, though other entry opportunities will be tweeted by Major Nelson and the official Xbox Twitter accounts.
Those unable to attend can see all the action unfold live on Twitch from 10pm-2am CT.
Microsoft is also planning launch celebrations across Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
Titanfall arrives in the UK on March 14.
