The minimum system requirements for the PC version of Watch Dogs have been confirmed by the game’s creative director Jonathan Morin.
Posting on Twitter last week, Morin said that the following specs are official and direct from the development team.
CPU: IntelCore 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMDPhenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz
Memory: 6GB RAM
Video Card: 1024 VRAM DirectX 11 Shader 5.0
Sound Card: DirectX9
Hard Disk: 25 GB
Whilst by no means monster requirements, the 6GB RAM requirement could catch a few PC gamers out.
It will be interesting to see the recommended specs, which we’re sure will convince many PC gamers to spend some money on upgrades.
Watch Dogs will be released May 27 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
