Raven Software has temporarily disabled Most Wanted contracts in Warzone 2 as it attempts to squish a bug in the battle royale shooter.

It’s believed the bug in question was a major XP exploit, allowing players to level up their weapons far faster than was intended.

According to CharlieIntel, the bug occurred when players would open a Supply Box at the same time as their Most Wanted contract expired, granting them a whopping 14,000 XP.

Naturally, this led to players farming this glitch and maxing out their weapons in just one game. So Raven Software has now disabled contracts entirely until the bug is fixed.

They’ve marked on their Trello board that they are investigating the issue, although there’s been no further update since yesterday.

There’s no word on an ETA when the bug is expected to be fixed at the current time, nor is there an expected time for when it’ll be back.

Meanwhile Warzone 2’s popularity shows no sign of slowing down – as players have been landing on the game’s new map, Al Mazrah.
