Warzone 2, CoD’s divisive battle royale mode, has been home to several glaring glitches since it was first introduced in 2022. From visually irritating ones like the massive light bloom bug to game breaking issues like the controversial Birdseye perk, the community has often had to suffer through a lot up to this point.

Unfortunately, another puzzling bug has apparently made its way into Warzone 2 as some players can now seemingly throw weapons at enemies instead of grenades. One user who was able to experience this hilarious development has now created a post on Reddit to share the glitch with the rest of the player base.

The recently created thread shared through the CoDWarzone subreddit simply features a short clip of the player attempting to fight their way out of the Gulag. As they approached the center of the arena, they would then proceed to throw a Snapshot Grenade to try to get a glimpse of the enemies’ positions.

However, what came out of the player’s hand wasn’t a piece of useful tactical equipment. Instead, it was the RPK Light Machine Gun, a firearm you would typically come across throughout Al Mazrah. Although funny to watch as a spectator, this latest issue does pose a problem at times since it doesn’t actually trigger the effect of the lethal equipment that you have.

Users commenting under the thread were predictably amused by the bug as flying weapons have the potential to surprise combatants even more than thrown grenades. Some were slightly less entertained, though, because of the amount of issues that are already present within Warzone 2.

Whether Infinity Ward addresses this latest problem or not remains to be seen. But with the developers having been notoriously uncommunicative for the past couple of weeks, the community isn’t exactly holding their breath for an immediate fix on this one.
