The tennis series returns with vastly improved visuals, thanks to the power of the next-gen consoles. Expect photo-realistic graphics and advanced player animations, brining each professional player to life, complete with their own unique mannerisms and facial expressions.

This is shaping up to be an outstanding title – a genuine next generation sports game,” commented Matt Woodley, Creative Director of SEGA. “Instant appeal and all the best of the VT brand is being added to an array of new gameplay features. Virtua Tennis 3 provides a must have in-depth experience – though I’d say the graphics alone are reason to buy and the quality is so sharp and clear you can even see the veins on the players necks!

The game’s Career mode is now even tougher, requiring players to compete against the world’s top professionals on courts all over the world. As has become the norm in sports titles these days, your character will be fully customizable, allowing you to create a pro tennis star exactly how you please.

The Virtua Tennis games wouldn’t be the same without mini-games, and Virtua Tennis 3 looks set to deliver. As well as the popular mini-games from previous titles, we can also expect to find a host of all new games that have been designed to keep the player in top form.

Virtua Tennis 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in spring 2007.
