Famitsu magazine is yet again providing us with another snippet of news. The magazine has revealed that the latest installment in the Virtua Fighter series will feature two new characters: El Blaze, a masked wrestler who fights in the Lucha Libre combat style; and an as yet unnamed character. El Blaze has a history with Virtua Fighter veteran Wolf, with their connection being revealed as the game’s story unfolds.
It has also been confirmed that Virtua Figher 5 will not feature any online modes. The reason being that the development team feel that online play would not fit in with the Virtua Figher tradition. The game will feature enhanced network functionality to enable players to communicate more easily to help form communities.
