Dontnod has exhumed a brand new Vampyr trailer to sink your teeth into, this time focusing on the game's supernatural-flavoured combat. Oddly enough, it turns out that Dr. Jonathan Reid has no compunction when it comes to leaving gaping, bloody holes in the bodies of people trying to ram a stake through his heart. Funny that, innit?

Vampyr takes full advantage of Reid's affliction as a Creature of the Night, with the bloodsucking anti-hero capable of mixing it up with traditional firearms and vampiric powers, allowing him to land a shot before getting intimate with his victim's carotid artery. From the look of things he can also lift enemies off the ground and teleport short distances, sort of like Count Duckula but only, well, he's not a vegetarian 'vampire' duck.

Check out the trailer below. Vampyr is scheduled for release on June 5 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
