Chart Track reports that Nintendo’s Wii Fit remains at the top of the All Formats All Prices video game chart for a fifth consecutive week, despite a 10 per cent drop off in sales and strong competition from a scary little girl.
Warner’s Fear 2: Project Origin is new at No.2 and becomes the fastest selling title in the series, with 50 per cent of sales on Xbox 360, 31 per cent on PS3 and 19 per cent on PC. Although the game missed out on the All Formats No.1, it was able to claim top spot in the Xbox 360 and PS3 charts and No.2 in the PC chart.
Mystery Case Files: Millionheir is up to No.3, Call of Duty: World at War slips one place to No.4 and FIFA 09 is down three places to No.5. Outside of the Top 10 there are new entries for Ben 10: Alien Force at No.13 and House of the Dead: Overkill at No.15.
Look out for strong new entries this week from Dawn of War II, Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand and Capcom’s Street Fighter IV. We’re expecting SF4 to have a big first week, but will it be enough to topple Wii Fit?
