Chart Track reports that THQ’s UFC 2009: Undisputed has entered the All Formats All Prices video game chart at No.1, with sales split 52 per cent on Xbox 360 and 48 per cent on PS3. The mixed martial arts title had to fend off competition from Pokemon Platinum (No.2), EA Sports Active (No.3) and Wii Fit (down three places to No.4).

EA’s FIFA 09 drops to No.5, Wolverine is down to No.6, Wii Play falls to No.7, Mario Kart Wii is at No.8, Ubisoft’s My Fitness Coach is up to No.9 and Call of Duty: World at War slides six places to No.10.

The week’s other new entries include Bionic Commando at No.14 – the game appears to have been largely ignored by PS3 gamers – THQ’s Big Family Games at No.30 and Codemasters’ Damnation at No.35.

The new releases continue to come thick and fast on Friday, with the contenders led by PS3 exclusive superhuman title, inFamous. Also looking for strong Top 10 new entries will be Terminator: Salvation, Virtua Tennis 2009 and Guitar Hero: Metallica.
