GfK ChartTrack reports that EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 has moved ahead of fellow EA Sports title Fight Night Round 4 in the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart.
Behind the EA Sports heavy hitters are Activision’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (sales up 71 per cent) and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. Wii Fit falls to No.6, Virtua Tennis 2009 climbs to No.7, The Sims 3 slides to No.8, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare returns to the Top 10 at No.9 and Prototype sits at No.10.
SEGA’s The Conduit was the week’s major new release, but failed to make the Top 10, charting at No.29 in the All Formats and No.8 in the Wii Chart.
With nothing likely to shake up the chart next week, expect what’s there now to shuffle about a little. We’d put our money on Harry Potter, spurred on by the release of the film, taking the top spot.
