Chart Track reports that EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 has entered the All Formats All Prices video game chart at No.1 – the first Tiger Woods game to debut at the top of the chart in the series’ ten-year history.

It’s also the biggest ever launch week for a Tiger Woods title thanks to strong sales across five formats (33% Xbox 360, 32% PS3, 28% Wii and the remainder on PS2 and PSP). It’s EA’s fifth No.1 week of the year, but the first since Army of Two back in week 10.

Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit each drop a single place to No.2 and No.3 respectively, followed by Carnival: Funfair Games at No.4 and Wii Play at No.5. Microsoft’s Too Human claims the second highest new entry at No.8 (No.1 in the Xbox 360 chart).

New entries to look out for next week include Mercenaries 2, Spore, Facebreaker, Infinite Undiscovery, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise and Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise.
