Chart Track reports that SoulCalibur IV has entered the All Formats All Prices video game chart at No.1, with the game selling most on Xbox 360.

The game becomes the fastest-selling entry in the series and marks the first all-formats No.1 for a SoulCalibur game since the release of SoulCalibur II (PS2, Xbox, GCN) in September 2003. The Xbox 360 version accounted for 56% of the game’s week one sales.

SoulCalibur IV has also become the fastest-selling traditional beat-em up to be launched on either the PS3 or Xbox 360. The game didn’t have an easy ride though, having to fend off strong competition from Wii Fit which is up 35% over last week. Mario Kart Wii is a non-mover at No.3 – up 25% – and Wall-E drops two places to No.4. THQ’s Big Beach Sports completed the Top 5, moving up five places thanks to retailer bundling.
