Sniper Elite V2 has secured the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart No.1 for 505 Games, Mastertronic and developer Rebellion.

Rebellion’s first Sniper Elite game launched back in 2005, published by Ubisoft.

This means it was a short-lived stay at the top for Activision’s Prototype 2, which is hit with a 63 per cent sales drop and slides to No.2.

EA’s FIFA 12 hold at No.3 and actually secured a four per cent rise in sales, week on week – likely down to the hype surrounding the climax to the football season, and the availability of the Euro 2012 DLC.

The only other new release of note is Warner’s Mortal Kombat for PS Vita, which is top of the PS Vita chart, but No.33 in the All Formats.
