UK Video Game Chart: FM 2010 claims No.1 spot

ChartTrack reports that SEGA and Sports Interactive’s Football Manager 2010 has claimed the All Formats All Prices No.1 spot, becoming the third football game in as many weeks to top the chart.

Hot on the heels of FM 2010 is Nintendo’s Wii Fit Plus at No.2, followed by FIFA 10 at No.3 (sales up three per cent), Forza 3 at No.4 and PES 2010 at No.5 (sales down 54 per cent) – Konami’s latest instalment in the PES franchise only debuted last week, yet is already being outsold by FIFA 10.

Rockstar Games’ GTA: Episodes from Liberty City is a new entry at No.6, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is at No.7, Tekken 6 is new at No.8, Borderlands moves down to No.9 and Wii Sports Resort rounds off the Top 10.

The only other Top 40 new entry is Activision’s DJ Hero at No.20.

Titles to look out for next week include Band Hero, Ghostbusters (non-Sony platforms), Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Rabbids Go Home, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Sith Edition, Dragon Age: Origins and Need for Speed: Nitro.
