GfK ChartTrack reports that Eidos has claimed the No.1 spot in the UK All Formats All Prices video game chart with Batman: Arkham Asylum, the publisher’s biggest All Formats No.1 since Who Wants to be a Millionaire back in 2000.

The sales split between platforms is fairly even: 55 per cent on Xbox 360 and 45 per cent on PS3 – the PC version is released later this month.

Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort moves down to No.2, Ashes Cricket 2009 holds firm at No.3, Wolfenstein slides two places to No.4 and Wii Fit is at No.5.

New releases to watch out for next week include Champions Online, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey and SuperCar Challenge.
