Bethesda has promised to deliver 500 Atoms to disgruntled owners of the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition, after complaints started cropping up regarding the quality of the duffle bag included in the set.

You may recall that Bethesda originally marketed the item as a heavy duty canvas bag, which is used to carry the Power Armor helmet replica. Well, this wasn't the bag that made the final cut. Instead of the high quality version advertised, users were dismayed to see that Bethesda had actually included a rubbish nylon version instead. Ouch.

To make matters worse, Bethesda's initial customer service response regarding the product (as provided by Reddit user AlexanderDLarge) was less than helpful.

'We are sorry that you aren't happy with the bag,' it reads. 'The bag shown in the media was a prototype and was too expensive to make. We aren't planning to do anything about it.'

Bethesda has since issued an apology on Twitter, and requested that those unhappy with the Power Armor Edition contact support with proof of purchase to receive 500 Atoms.

Sadly, the bag isn't the only thing that's of questionable quality. Fallout 76 itself is a bit of a mess too, unfortunately. Having said that, Bethesda appears to be doing something about it, with two major patches planned in the coming weeks.

Let's hope it makes a difference, eh?
