Bethesda has apologised to Fallout 76 players for keeping relatively quiet following the game's troubled launch, confirming it has two major patches for the post-apocalyptic online title in the pipeline.

The first patch will roll out on December 4 and increases the game's Stash limit from 400-600, as well as implementing a number of key performance and stability improvements across the board.

'While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game,' said Bethesda.

Elsewhere, the loot you receive from defeating bosses has also been tweaked. Now, players should receive two to three items depending on their difficulty and level. Players will now also respawn at the nearest map marker if they kicked the bucket while overencumbered.

The second Fallout 76 update will arrive on December 11. This includes a Respec feature that lets you choose between a new Perk Card, or moving a Special Point you had previously allocated, after you've hit Level 50.

The PC version of the game will receive some new additions too, including a Push-To-Talk option for Voice Chat, 21:9 screen resolution, and a setting for Field of View.

Fallout 76 launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One a few weeks back, and Josh thought it was a bit of a mess.
