FIFA 12 launched a few weeks ago to fantastic reviews and record-breaking sales, but it seems HMV believes some football fans are willing to trade in the year’s best football game for the newest version of PES.

And perhaps they will given that the highstreet retailer is only asking for an extra 99p when also parting ways with a copy of FIFA 12 on Xbox 360 or PS3.

In a similar deal, the store is taking copies of F1 2011 and £1.99 as payment for a copy of the magnificent Forza 4.

The FIFA 12 for PES 2012 deal is great news for Konami, but will FIFA players want to part with their new baby? We can see those unable to get to grips with the new tackling system biting HMV’s hand off, but everyone else is probably content with EA’s latest.
