Ubisoft has released a new trailer for The Division that shows off the new features that have been added to the game in the 1.7 update. The main addition in the 1.7 update is the introduction of the Global Events system, which offers players a new event each month where they can acquire new gear and items. Looks like I’ll have to dive on in.

Update 1.7 introduces a number of new features and additional customization options, as well as encrypted caches, new time-limited challenges and a new achievement system to further enhance the game experience.

The Division came out on PS4, Xbox One and PC back in March 2016 to decent reviews. Our own Alice Bell said that it was a ‘very interesting game, with soaring highs as well as flaws, and the best multiplayer for years’. Can’t argue with that really. It’s good to see that the game is still getting support and gameplay enhancements.
