A new 8v8 Pilot-only mode is being introduced to Titanfall as part of its next title update.
Pilot Skirmish removes Titans and AI combatants from the battle and bumps Titanfall’s player count from 12 to 16, leaving just two teams of Pilots to duke it out in the warzone.
Alongside the new mode, Game Update 6 makes popular game type Marked For Death a permanent feature in the game’s playlists and introduces a variety of tweaks to the new Black Market, including the option to buy individual Burn Cards and a brand new ultra rare card that lets you access your entire deck from inside a match.
Three colourblind options are also included, as is a new option to auto-fill your Burn Cards, letting players quickly fill their Burn Card slots to avoid heading into battle empty-handed.
Additional fixes and tweaks have also been made to the game’ balancing and optimisation. For the complete list, head through to Respawn’s website.
A date for Game Update 6 has yet to be confirmed, but expect it to roll out on Xbox One and PC in early September and on Xbox 360 a few weeks later.
