Titanfall has reached the major milestone of reaching 10 million… something or other, Respawn Entertainment co-founder and CEO Vince Zampella has announced.

The question is what exactly the 10 million figure refers too. Presumably we’re talking about sales, but it could include free downloads via EA Access, too.
Titanfall launched in March 2014 on Xbox One and PC and one month later on Xbox 360. All DLC for the game was made free in March this year.
Titanfall has been sold for as little as £5 on the Xbox Store, but it remains an accomplishment to get the game in the hands of 10 million players. Perhaps most importantly for the future of the franchise, a solid install base should ensure considerable interest in a multiplatform sequel when it is officially announced.
