Access to Titanfall’s upcoming beta may be limited to those provided with beta keys, Respawn has suggested, adding that it hopes to get as many keys out to people “as titanly possible”.
While details on the beta have yet to be officially announced (including how players will be able to get a hold of a key) Respawn boss Vince Zampella explained last night that “Beta codes will not be region locked”.
He later added that Respawn is looking to send out “as many [keys] as titanly possible”.
EA’s earlier public betas for games like Battlefield and Medal of Honor have often offered exclusive access to those with keys before opening up to all users a few days later. It isn’t known whether Titanfall will adopt a similar structure.
More details on the beta and how you can get involved are due to be announced soon. And the clock is ticking: the beta is hotly tipped to kick off on Xbox One and PC next Friday, February 14.
