The unannounced – but totally expected – Titanfall sequel will almost certainly appear on PS4 in addition to Xbox and PC, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen has suggested.
Titanfall launched for Xbox One and PC in March 2014, and a month later in April. To date over 7 million people have played across all formats.
That number should increase considerably with a wider release for the sequel.
“Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another Titanfall game,” Jorgensen said during Monday’s 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference. “It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that’s a huge positive for us.”
Jorgensen also noted that new-gen console sales now stand at around 30 million units worldwide. He didn’t break down the figures, but we know PS4 has shifted over 18.5 million units.
