2K and Gearbox have unveiled the Blightcaller, a new class coming as DLC to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
The Blightcaller will be available in the looter-shooter’s fourth Mirrors of Mystery DLC drop later this year. Their abilities will see them use magic and also powerful summoned totems too. They’ll be using poisons and plenty of elemental magic, but further details are being kept under wraps until closer to launch.
Before then, however, the game’s third DLC pack is arriving next week. Entitled Molten Mirrors, players who take on this mission will see them battle Fyodor the Soul Warden. His mountain stronghold is filled with lost souls, and naturally it’s up to you to free them. You’ll have to keep on your toes, however, as he’s also included a bunch of mechanical defences to get past.
As has been the case for the other Mirrors of Mystery DLC packs so far, you’ll be able to replay the mission as it gets progressively harder for more lucrative loot. Completing the chapter also adds more Legendary loot drops to Vesper’s Wheel of Fate. You’ll also get aspects of Fyodor’s prison mixed into subsequent Choice Chamber runs too, and a bunch of new cosmetics.
The third DLC chapter coincides with the launch of the game on Steam for the first time. Players on PC have so far had to get the game through Epic Game Store, but that exclusivity deal has come to an end meaning you can grab the game on Steam too from June 23. All formats including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 & PC get Molten Mirrors on the same day. You’ll be able to grab the DLC on its own, or in the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Season Pass.
The fourth Mirror of Mystery also comes with an additional class… The Blightcaller! ☠ ⚔
