Rockstar Games’ Beaterator, a collaboration between the Grand Theft Auto dev and acclaimed rapper and producer Timbaland, is much more than a basic music creator backed by a high profile name. It’s a tool that Timbaland himself has used to produce tracks both for himself and Jay-Z.

Speaking to Invasion Radio, Timbaland revealed that he used Beaterator in the production of Jay-Z’s recent ‘Blueprint 3’ album and his own album, ‘Shock Value 2’.

“Oh yeah, I made a couple from that [Shock Value 2]…I had to,” he explained.

Proof that in the right hands, the PSP game is capable of studio quality beats. See what we thought of it by checking out the VideoGamer.com review.
