- The next Throne and Liberty open beta ran from July 19-23
- It started on July 19 at 10am PT / 5pm UTC
- Progress from the beta will not carry over to the live game
Throne and Liberty is one of the most exciting upcoming games and with good reason. The MMORPG from South Korean developers NCSoft looks like it could be one of the best medieval fantasy games of recent years with some incredible combat and visuals to boot, so it’s no surprise that players are itching to try it out.
And you’ll have the chance to do just that soon enough with an upcoming open beta for the game. We’ve put together all the information you need about the game’s beta period including the date and time it starts and how long it will go on for.
When does the Throne and Liberty beta start?
The Throne and Liberty open beta began on July 18 2024 at 10am PT / 5pm UTC, and ran until July 23 at 10am PT / 5pm UTC. It’s going to be fully available on PC via Steam, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Unfortunately, the beta wasn’t available in every region. Players in North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand will all be able to get in on the action. Sadly, if you aren’t from one of those regions, you’re going to have to wait for a future beta.
Additionally, if you were hoping to use the beta period to get a bit of a head start before the full release of the game, we’ve got bad news on that front too. All progress you make during the Throne and Liberty beta period will not carry over to the full game once it goes live, so don’t go getting too attached to your characters.
Aside from that, enjoy! Throne and Liberty is shaping up to be one of the most exciting MMORPGs to come out in recent years and we can’t wait to try it out for ourselves.
