Cruis’n USA is something of a cult classic. The 1994 Midway arcade game that was ported to the N64 in 1996 (although it didn’t come to Europe until 1998) is a racer that many people look back on fondly. I’m not one of those people. I thought Cruis’n USA was terrible in comparison to other racers of the time. I mean, come on, we’d had Daytona USA and Ridge Racer by that point!

And now the series is back. In the arcades. Who even knew new arcade racers were still being made? Here’s the latest trailer, along with some TERRIBLE music.

Cruis’n Blast features tricks, five tracks, and massive environment objects crashing on the tracks. It looks, well, a bit ropey, so if you were expect graphics on par with the likes of Driveclub and Forza Horizon 3, it’s time to get those in check.

But hey, it’s a new Cruis’n game, and you loved USA back in the day, right? No you didn’t, because it was awful.
