This is the Police, a strategy adventure game in which moral choices play a major part, will launch for PC, Mac and Linux on July 28, developer Weappy Studio and publisher EuroVideo Medien have announced.

After serving the Freeburg City Police Department for decades, the new Chief of Police Jack Boyd receives a letter from the mayor informing him that he’s fired and has only 180 days left in power. Furious with the situation Boyd decides to spend his final days making money by whatever means possible.

The player’s goal is to pocket $500,000 in these 180 days, be that by cooperating with the Mafia, taking bribes, selling confiscated weapons or other means. Boyd must balance the daily routine as Chief while making money without getting caught.

Chief Jack Boyd is voiced by Jon St. John, famous for his role as Duke Nukem.

This is the Police will be priced £11.99.
