The DLC for Battlefield 1 was publicly released on March 28 (though players with the Battlefield 1 premium pass got it on March 14) and the community has discovered a Megalodon hiding in the new Fort de Vaux map.Â
Tempting out the giant shark takes a number of steps. You have to open three valves found on the map, which floods a crater near point C. You then have to throw a grenade down a hidden pipe near point B, and choose three sacrificial lambs to melee kill in the water of the puddle, staining it red. When you’ve done this you can send another man into the puddle as bait…
This whole thing is a callback to a similar Easter egg in Battlefield 4. Both times players have followed a treasure trail of elaborate clues, so hats off to them for finding the BF1 Megalodon so quickly.
