Developer CD Projekt RED has released a new update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt today in an attempt to iron out some of the issues associated with the game's PlayStation 4 Pro HDR patch.

The game received 4K support for Sony's high-powered telly box in October last year, with HDR arriving just last month. However, it wasn't up scratch with the Xbox One X edition and frankly was a bit of a mess, with some ugly foliage pop-up marring an otherwise beautiful looking game.

Fortunately, things seem to have been sorted out now, with update 1.62 removing most of the major pop-up issues that plagued the game by improving the draw distance.

The Witcher 3 has been out for three years now, and in that time received two expansion: Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone. The game brings the curtains down on grizzly hero Geralt's story, although he's still keeping busy thanks to a guest appearance in Soul Calibur 6.

CD Projekt is RED busy working on its next project, the highly anticipated sci-fi romp Cyberpunk 2077.
