The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will make its way to Xbox 360 on two discs, developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed at the Eurogamer Expo.

“We haven’t had an official statement about it,” said story designer and writer Jan Bartkowicz, “but I think we’re – it’s going to be more than one. It cannot be three, but I think it’s going to be two discs.”

Bartkowicz, who admitted he’s no whiz when it comes to graphics, also revealed that the team has had to nip and tuck here and there to bring the graphically impressive PC title to Xbox 360.

“I’m not really that good with all the technology stuff,” he said. “We really pushed it for the PC release, so it’s natural that you have to do some voodoo to make it look really great on Xbox, and sometimes you have to replace something with something else that will deliver a really cool graphical experience.”

The Witcher 2 is targeted for released in Q1 2012.
