To celebrate the release of The Witcher 2 Version 2.0, Polish developer CD Projekt RED has permanently reduced the price of the game at all digital and retail outlets. In addition, there are a number of digital stores offering discounts on top of that.

Up until October 6, The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings is just 29.99 USD from the DRM-free GOG.com, and is 25 per cent off on Steam, bringing it to 29.99 Euro/29.99 USD/20.99 GBP.

Other digital distributors such as Direct2Drive, Impulse and GamersGate are also offering the game cheaper than usual.

The Retail Premium Edition also receives a price cut, now available for 39.99 Euro or $39.99 in North America.
