EA and developer Maxis has announced the High School Years expansion pack for The Sims 4. It launches on July 28th.

The expansion will add Copperdale, a small town in which they can attend high school and hang out with their friends. Check out the trailer for the new expansion below:

The description reads:

“Your Sims will dance the night away at prom, explore their personal style, and maybe even be asked out by their crushes! Between after-school activities, hyping outfits on Trendi, and new opportunities for pranks and mischief your teen Sims will have tons to do. They won’t have to sit on their beds and waste time on their phones. But they’ll be able to.”

The Sims 4 came out in 2014, and it went down well. In VideoGamer’s review of the game, Jamie Trinca said:

“However, the focus of The Sims 4 is not on its world, but on the Sims themselves: their personalities, their aspirations and their interactions with each other. On this front, it is deeply impressive—these are the most convincing little computer people the series has ever produced.”

High School Years launches on July 28th, 2022, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
