Eager eyed readers may have noticed a German language demo appear a few days ago, but now the English language demo is available to download. The demo includes a tutorial for new players and a demo map.
To make sure you don’t get too carried away with the demo and forget to buy the full game, you’ll only get one hour before the game automatically ends, you can only play as the Romans, and there’s no multiplayer support. Still, at least you get to play the game before it’s released.
The demo weighs in at a not unreasonable 195 MB and can be downloaded from a number of places, including 3D Gamers. The Settlers II 10th Anniversary is due for release on PC this autumn.
