The Peterson Case, a spine-chilling horror romp from UK-based developer Quarter Circle Games, is in the pipeline for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, the studio has announced.

Set in 1947 near the infamous crash site of the Roswell UFO incident, The Peterson Case sees players hopping into the shoes of Detective Franklin Reinhardt, as he snoops around a seemingly abandoned house in search of its missing residents.

There’s a definite Resident Evil vibe to the proceedings as you skulk around the abode solving puzzles and fending off a mysterious, evil presence that pursues you throughout the investigation. Quarter Circle Games promises us an adventure that ‘strikes the perfect balance between atmospheric horror, suspenseful narrative, and engaging puzzles.’

The Peterson Case has yet to attract a release date, but you can watch a suitably creepy teaser trailer below.Â
