Sony has confirmed that The Last of Us won’t be released this year, confirming that it’ll arrive on PlayStation 3 in 2013.
Speaking to VG247, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed the news PS3 owners didn’t want to hear.
“We are not ready to talk about 2013. But some of the games we showed like God of War and The Last of Us are not coming out this year,” he told the site at E3. “We will talk more about what our line-up of games will be like in 2013.”
At E3 Sony also announced 2013 release dates for Beyond: Two Souls and God of War Ascension. The end of 2012 is looking quite disappointing in comparison, with Sly Cooper Thieves in Time, LittleBigPlanet Karting and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale being the main exclusives.
