The First Descendant has been a fantastic experience since its release last month, and fans have the imminent release of Season 1 to anticipate. Marketing for the game’s first proper season hasn’t yet begun, but that seems set to change next week. The First Descendant has just been confirmed for Gamescom 2024 alongside a multitude of other exciting titles.
Nexon has shared the release window for Season 1, and it will introduce a new character as teased in the update 1.07 patch notes. Three new playable characters have leaked for the future, and it appears the Season 1 Descendant could be a female named Hailey. In addition, the game’s roadmap for 2024 reveals we will be getting more amazing skins including another Ultimate following on from Valby.
We absolutely cannot wait for Season 1 to arrive, and we’re expecting to see The First Descendant Season 1 trailer at Gamescom.
The First Descendant confirmed for Gamescom 2024
The First Descendant has been confirmed for Gamescom 2024 as part of Microsoft’s Xbox lineup. It will be shown off on August 23rd, and, although not explicitly stated, it’s expected the showing will include a trailer for Season 1.
It’s possible TFD could also be part of the Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley on August 20th, but right now it is merely confirmed for one of Xbox’s three showcases. Below is the shared Xbox schedule that includes a host of other exciting properties:
