Shinji Mikami’s next-gen horror The Evil Within will release in the UK on October 24, Bethesda has confirmed. This is approximately two months later than the August 29 date announced back in February.
Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the “polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience” they set out to create.
The Evil Within is the ex-Resident Evil director’s first game since 2011’s Shadows of the Damned, and tells the gruesome tale of detective Sebastian Castellanos investigating a murder scene.
Look out for The Evil Within on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
