The Evil Within 2 has received a brand new update just in time for Halloween, Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have announced (via XBA).

Available now for all platforms, the update includes an additional difficulty in the shape of Akumu mode, as well as a bunch of new options such as Infinite Stamina, Super Strength, and Invincibility. The best bit? They don't affect Achievements/Trophies.

Keep in mind that you will have to sign in with a Bethesda.net account or create a new one to access the new content, which means coughing up your email address.

The Evil Within 2 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in October 2017, although we thought it was something of a step backwards in comparison to the original game. Still, at least now you can go through the whole game without worrying about taking damage, eh?
