Given the success of The Elder Scrolls III on PC and Xbox, it comes as no surprise that there will be an Elder Scrolls IV. What may surprise is that it has been in development since 2002, and not only for PC but also next-generation consoles, although Bethesda has not commented on which.

Little is know about the game, save for the title – Oblivion – although given the critical acclaim with which Morrowind garnered you can expect plenty more freedom to roam and live life how you see fit, along with oodles of character interaction.
