Curve Games and Neon Giant have announced they’re bringing cyberpunk RPG The Ascent to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 next month.

The game originally arrived on Xbox and PC back in July of last year. You play as an indentured worker in a corporate-run supertower in the grimly futuristic planet of Veles. However, when the Ascent Group is mysteriously shut down, you find your survival threatened. This is your cue to take up arms and explore the districts in your attempt to move up the world. Expect plenty of weapons, gadgets and more which you can tackle alone or with up to three other friends in co-op.

We reviewed the game back when it launched, with our Josh giving the following verdict. “The Ascent is about the seedy, low-level doings of the planet Veles, a sulfurous stack of towers, where tongues of fire lash the air and holographic advertisements ghost through the rain. And it isn’t really about much else. Its skyline is happy to quote at length from Blade Runner, but the poetry is in short supply.”

PlayStation owners can find out for themselves when The Ascent arrives on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 from March 24. You can also get your eyes on a trailer celebrating the PlayStation launch down below, if you fancy.
