Action shooter RPG The Ascent is getting some new DLC in the form of Cyber Heist later this month.
As announced by Neon Giant, the DLC takes place after the original game’s main story. It’ll be playable in both solo and co-op modes and will include a bunch of new missions and side-quests.
Here’s the blurb: “In Cyber Heist, Kira, your former employer, has a new top-secret job, and as a newly independent contractor how could you refuse? Venture outside of your familiar arcology into a brand new arcology owned by the Malhorst-Gelb Group. There’s some new ground-breaking tech ripe for the taking, but you’re not the only one with their sights on the prize…”
The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC will throw in some new weapons, including melee weapons for the first time. They include the Rock Crusher and the Guillotine. There’s also a brand new overworld location, thanks to a new arcology owned by the Malhorst-Gelb group.
You’ll also get to meet new characters, and fight some brand new enemies too. You can check out some of what the DLC has to offer in the trailer below.

The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC arrives on August 18 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
