The previously PlayStation-exclusive Tetris Effect is heading to PC via the Epic Games Store, it has been announced today.

Just as with the PlayStation 4 version, you'll be able to play in standard or VR modes, with the game supporting both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The PC version will also support up to 4K resolution and above as well as an uncapped framerate (with Vsync turned off) and support for ultrawide monitors, as well as loads of graphical options not present on the PS4 version.

Tetris Effect is a bloody wonderful thing that sees the classic Tetris gameplay married with an auditory-visual experience from the mind of the creator of Rez, Tetsuya Mizuguchi and legitamately has some of the best music in gaming in recent memory. Josh even named the game one of his Games of the Year last year.

No word on how long the Epic Games Store exclusivity is set to last for, but if that doesn't bother you then Tetris Effect will be available from next week, July 23, with pre-orders available right now.
