Bandai Namco Games has released the full patch notes for Tekken 7's second season of content, which introduces new characters, rebalances existing fighters, and throws in new mechanics such as the Wall Bound.

Three characters have been confirmed so far: Anna Williams, Lei Wulong, and Negan from The Walking Dead. There's more to come, but Bamco's keeping mum on their identities for now.

If you know Tekken pretty intimately, then you're probably used to studying frame data. All moves are governed by this data; think of it as a way of measuring how long a move takes to perform and recover.

The list of character balance changes are extensive, and take into account all manner of frame data changes. For example, Kazuya Mishima (my favourite character) has a meaty gut punch that is performed by pressing forward + square and triangle. This has now had its recovery time reduced from -16 to -9, so that you aren't quite so vulnerable if the attack is blocked.

You should definitely check out the full patch notes to see just how Bamco has tweaked your top picks. Chances are you won't agree with everything they've done, but overall, it seems to be pretty solid.

Tekken 7 Season Two kicks off on September 6 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
