According to Famitsu magazine, Fatal Frame producer, Keisuke Kikuchi, is working on Tecmo’s first game for the PSP. Despite the fatal frame series being one of the leading horror franchises on consoles, Kikuchi is working on something a little different for the PSP.

Karakuri (Gimmicks) is an action-puzzler where you play a boy who has control of eight robots. These robots need to be used to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. The game is said to be only 15 percent complete, but an autumn release is expected in Japan. With very few details on the game available, it is no surprise that a European release has yet to be announced. Given the massive delay we’ve already had to suffer for the PSP itself, don’t expect to see this any time this year.
