It’s not been a banner year for games, like 2018, but the likes of this list would stand tall alongside any vintage. Here are, in no particular order, five of Josh’s favourite games of 2018.

Mike’s been burning down kitchens in Overcooked 2, Colm’s played the opening of Spider-Man, Josh has had a go on Strange Brigade, and a special guest is on to chat the new hotness Disney Infinity 3.0.

Dead Cells is, at times, constrained by the genres it so heavily draws from, but its vibrant pixel art, furious combat, and rigorous execution make for a winning formula all its own.
