A new video for Super Mario Maker has revealed that the game will support more than 50 amiibo figures, which can be inserted into the game creator by touching the Wii U GamePad.

In addition, Nintendo has confirmed that users will be able to create new sound effects.

Compatible with more than 50 amiibo – Many amiibo are compatible with Super Mario Maker, including classic figures like Link, Wii Fit Trainer and Kirby. With the special 30th Anniversary Mario amiibo, you can take on mustachioed enemies in levels using Big Mario.

New sound effects and music block customization – You can create your own sound effects in Super Mario Maker, with some sounds even generating fun visuals! And by shaking a classic Note Block during level creation, it becomes a Music Block. When something activates one of these Music Blocks, it will play a note based on its height, allowing players to arrange songs of all types.

You can pre-order Super Mario Maker including the amiibo now from Amazon The game launches September 11.
