Warner Bros Games and Rocksteady have offered up a new trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, finally showcasing some gameplay for the first time.

The footage was teased earlier this week and indeed was shown during The Game Awards. Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, Deadshot and King Shark all get some time in the spotlight. Quinn swings around with her trusty baseball bat, while King Shark’s strength lets him wield a minigun. Then we get Deadshot and his long-range sniper rifles. Finally, Captain Boomerang gets stuck in with a shotgun and the boomerangs he’s named after.

On the other side of the coin, we’re also given a good look at The Flash. He’s one of the members of the Justice League who appear to have been corrupted by Brainiac. You can expect he’ll be making your adventure that much harder as you and the Squad try and complete their mission. We’ll be in for a showdown against him and the other heroes-turned-evil over the course of the game.

You can check out the new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League trailer for yourself down below. We still don’t have a firm date yet, but the game is currently pencilled in for a 2022 launch on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
